Founder and CEO of Children’s Hospice South West, Eddie Farwell, opened the charity’s new shop in Exeter today (Thursday 1 October).

The new shop is situated on the busy Sidwell Street and shoppers were queuing to get inside on its opening day.

The new shop has a fresh modern layout with a great range of goods on offer including a dedicated children’s section, and is the result of the relocation of the charity’s existing shop in Fore Street.

The team is looking forward to welcoming customers, both new and old, and it’s hoped that the new premises will be a hit with Exeter shoppers.

The shop will also be keen to welcome new volunteers, so if you have a few hours to spare and would like to help out, please contact CHSW’s volunteer coordinator, Stephanie Robey on 01271 325270.

Children’s Hospice South West provides respite and end of life care to life-limited children and their families across Devon.

The charity relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and each £1 spent in its shops helps to make the most of short and precious lives.
