Stars of TOWIE, BGT and the X Factor to appear at Exeter charity ball
The Harry Cunningham Trust, which raises money for Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital’s neonatal unit, is staging a glitzy celebrity ball, open to the public, in Exeter’s Sandy Park.
The trust, set up in 2012, aims to raise awareness of vasa praevia, a rare but deadly condition affecting unborn children where vital blood vessels block the birth canal, resulting in severe complications. The trust was begun after the condition led to the tragic death of Harry Cunningham, the son of trustee and founder Niki Cunnigham, at just 26 hours old.
It now continues to help sick babies, offer support for bereaved families, and increase awareness of vasa praevia.
Tickets to the black-tie, red-carpet event, which will be held on 15 November, will include appearances by celebrities such as Hearsay’s Kym Marsh, Hollyoaks actor Ashley Dawson, and the casts of The Only Way is Essex, and Made in Chelsea as well as Devon's very own X Factor finalist Luke Friend. There will also be live performances by boyband Rough Copy, and Britain’s Got Talent finalists Twist and Pulse.
The ball also includes a three-course meal, and silent auction, making it an exciting evening of entertainment and glamour.
Tickets are on sale from 4th August and begin at £70, and celebrity experience tickets can be purchased to include being seated with one of the event’s stars. The proceeds of the event will go towards funding the wonderful support offered by the trust, care that is saving the lives of critically ill babies.
Tickets can be purchased here https://event.bookitbee.com/774/3rd-annual-harrys-ball/ and the Harry Cunningham Trust website can be found by following this link http://harrycunninghamtrust.co.uk/# . So don’t miss out; enjoy a wonderful evening of celebrity and entertainment in style, and help support Devon’s most vulnerable children.
