With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Card Market, the greetings card store, wants to hear from Exeter’s most ardent wordsmiths.

Shoppers can post their declarations of love in the windows of the Exeter store with the most creative Casanova winning a romantic dinner for two.

Look out for the huge Valentine’s heart  in the window of the Exeter store ready for those perfectly penned words of love. It may be poetry or a paragraph, something personal or words that you want to tell the world, Card Market will be looking for the most creative and evocative words of love to fill their windows.

Brett Renfree, Store Manager at Exeter Card Market, says “People may pop in and pick up a Valentine’s card for someone special next week but it’s the message inside that counts.

"We want our customers and shoppers of Exeter to bring these words to the world – and to the person they love – by posting them in our windows. Even better, one lucky Romeo or Juliet will win a romantic dinner for them and the object of their affection.

"We know there is an abundance of creativity and passion thriving in Exeter, that’s what we want to see in our store window. C’mon Exeter, our windows are waiting.”

Entrants can prepare their love notes in store until 14 February 2015. One winner in each area will be drawn on week commencing 16th February 2015 and notified by post. Terms and conditions apply. Ask in store for details.
