Major store refit brings enhanced experience for Exeter people
ONE of Exeter’s leading stores will be undergoing a £150,000 refit to enhance customers’ experience.
The Specsavers store’s significant makeover will include a digital front window display screen, improved lighting using energy-saving LEDs, new up-to-date displays to illuminate the glasses frames, and upgraded desks and chairs, as well as new signage and fascia to come outside.
The ambitious undertaking will be on 9-10 September, with the High Street store being closed. No appointments have been scheduled for these two days.
Emma Denham, store director, says: ‘We’ve been saving a long time for these changes to the store, and we’re really excited about them. They will make a big difference to our customers’ experience, demonstrating our desire to bring the best possible service for the people of Exeter.
‘As a locally owned and run store, we have always been proud to be part of Exeter’s forward-looking community, and these changes show our confidence in the city’s future.
‘We’ve also been motivated by the increased numbers of customers wanting high-quality eye and hearing services.
‘We believe the investment we’re making now will bring real benefits to our customers, combining the latest eye care, hearing care and retail technology to provide a highly professional and ultra-modern service.’
Specsavers Exeter, which employs 70 people, is open seven days a week, offering eye health services and hearing services.
