NatWest Venus Business Women Awards Networking Event

There was a veritable buzz of excitement as ladies who have been shortlisted for the NatWest Venus Women Awards gathered for a networking event at the Magdalen Chapter hotel. Hosted by Celia Delaney, the Awards' Devon organiser, and Tara Howard, founder of the Venus Awards, this was the perfect opportunity to meet old and new acquaintances and share news. It was revealed tonight that there had been over 1,400 nominations made, a clear indicator of the collaborative nature of the way in which we do business in Devon.

Earlier in the day, candidates for Devon's Employer, Employee and Business Mother of the year were held at Heart's radio office, after which the candidates will be shortlisted through an exciting and tense pubic vote!

The Exeter Daily is proud to be sponsoring the Employee of the Year Award and wish all who have been shortlisted the best of luck in moving forward to the next stage of the process. We hope to see you at the grand Awards Ceremony being held at the University of Exeter on 5 September 2013. This is the first year the Venus Awards have come to Devon and with such a brilliant venue it is set to be a fantastic night.
