Exeter Santa Run returns
CITY Community Trust’s Santa Run is back for 2018 and we’re excited to welcome as many runners as possible into our CITY centre to start the Christmas celebrations.
The event, supported by our charity partners Age UK Exeter, Children’s Hospice South West, Julian House and Force Cancer, will see hundreds of runners dressed in Santa suits running, jogging and walking through Exeter on Sunday, December 2.
The morning offers something for everyone and is split into two separate events, starting with a 5km race, followed by a 2.5km family fun run. So, if you just want to run for a bit of festive fun with the family then you may want to edge towards the 2.5km event. Or, if you wish to test yourself then why not take on the 5km challenge?
The event really is for all ages and abilities, so even if you're a student looking for some fun and celebration to round off the term, if you want to simply test your fitness then this event is for you!
Entry is limited to the first 600 entrants, so gather your friends, family or workmates together and confirm your place through www.exetercitycommunitytrust.co.uk. Please note, there is no sign up on the day option so claim your place quick before the November 22 online entry deadline.
CITY Community Trust would like to thank In Exeter, Skanska, Galliford Try and Princesshay for their continued support, and Stagecoach who will be providing free bus travel for Santas to and from the city centre on the day.
CITY Community Trust’s Peter Ferlie, who helps to organise the Santa Run, said: “The Santa Run is a fantastic event. It’s a great way to begin the festive season with your family and friends along a beautiful route in Exeter.
“It starts at Princesshay, who have been very supportive of the event, so why not sign up today and come down for a festive run.”
