30-60 minute grocery delivery service launches in Exeter – and you can get £9 off your first order
Snappy Shopper works with retailers to serve local customers within 30–60 minutes
From Wednesday 11 January, Snappy Shopper are partnering with multiple convenience stores, launching an Exeter pilot to offer local customers 30–60 minute grocery and alcohol delivery at in-store prices.
The stores participating are:
- Nisa Cullompton, Cullompton
- Londis Pinhoe Road, Exeter
- Premier Hoopern Street, Exeter
- Premier Rivermead & Post Office, Exmouth
All stores are offering new customers £9 off their first order over £10* using code EXETER, with the stores also offering free delivery for the next 6 weeks.
The expansion into Exeter comes after a spike in demand for affordable and rapid grocery delivery. The service will enable over 100,000 local customers to save on their shopping whilst supporting their local convenience store. Snappy Shopper is already operating across the UK, with over 1,700 retailers and millions of existing customers.
A recent Snappy Shopper campaign determined that ordering from a convenience store via Snappy Shopper can save over 26% vs. ordering through an inflated service such as Deliveroo.
One Snappy customer says: “I have been using the delivery service for a few years now and must say I have yet to be disappointed. Easy to navigate the app, good selection of products and reasonable prices. Prompt service every time.”
Since July, a handful of selected Snappy Shopper retailers have already offered £7 off new customer orders as part of a wider effort to support tens of thousands of customers during the cost of living crisis, amounting to a total saving of over £120k from these offer alone.
Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper says: “As a customer-first service, we are absolutely committed to supporting our customers with our in-app promotions throughout the year but particularly whilst times are tough. We hope that our £9 off a £10 shop goes further towards helping customers in Exeter. This particular offer is great for those who find January a bit of a stretch, with a long time between paydays and off the back of an expensive Winter season.”
Most notably, in October, Snappy Shopper offered all customers, new and existing, a “Big Brand 1p bundle” featuring popular household favourites including Tetley teabags, McVitie’s Digestives, Maltesers and more for only one penny. The bundle was purchased by over 12,000 customers across Scotland, England and Wales, enabling customers to enjoy best-loved brands at a fraction of the price.
There are always seasonal offers to watch out for, which are promoted via the Snappy Shopper Facebook page and through push notifications on the app.
