A377 reopens after crash
The A377 has re-opened after being closed in both directions after a serious accident.
Emergency crews were called just before 11pm on Friday.
When police arrived on the scene they found a vehicle on its roof with a person trapped inside.
Two fire appliances from Crediton used hydraulic cutting equipment, a saw and small tools to release the casualty who was conveyed to hospital by ambulance crews.
The closure is between the Five Elms Lane junction and the Four Mills Lane junction, because of accident investigation work.
