Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in Aylesbeare, Exeter, on Saturday (10 May).

Offenders forced a door to get inside the home sometime between 9.30am and 7pm.

After making an untidy search of the house, they stole a black laptop, a still camera and a £1,500 projector, various items of jewellery and a brass compass in a box.

They also took a distinctive scalloped edged silver tray engraved with ‘Ultra International’ which was from a conference in New Delhi.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or has been offered any of the items for sale is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference CR/072569/14.
