Be a Hero for BBC Children in Need
Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is inviting all guests to ‘be a hero’ on Friday 14th November to support BBC Children in Need as part of the charity’s #CaptainCostume campaign.
Children who visit the Park dressed up as their favourite Superhero on the day will receive a free Pudsey bandana and have the opportunity to take part in a fancy dress parade at 12pm in the Adventure Zone. The parade will be judged by General Manager, Josh Haywood, and the best dressed Superhero will receive a small prize.
BBC Children in Need is held every year to raise funds for disadvantaged youngsters in the UK through a series of events, TV specials and the official BBC programme. Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park will be helping support the cause with donation buckets out around the Park.
Chris Down, Managing Director said: “We are so pleased to be getting involved with BBC Children in Need this year, helping to raise awareness by taking part in the #CaptainCostume campaign that the charity is running nationwide. We all know children love to dress up, so we thought this would be an extra special fun thing for them to do, please don’t forget to send in your pictures to our Facebook page and donate to BBC Children in Need!”
The fun doesn’t stop at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park; the park is now open an amazing 361 days a year. Guests looking to warm up on chillier days need look no further with 75,000 square feet of undercover indoor adventure, perfect for term time tots.
Guests that live for the weekends will not be disappointed; Buddy Bear and his friends will open over 40 all-weather rides and attractions throughout the Park each Saturday and Sunday during the winter season.
