Campaigners bike in the buff!
Shoppers in Exeter got a lot more than they bargained for on Saturday afternoon when a convoy of naked cyclists pedalled past.
It was all part of the World Naked Bike Ride which aims to highlight greener modes of transport.
On their Facebook page organisers describe the event as "a peaceful, positive and fun protest exposing the need to rediscover non oil dependent modes of transport, and highlight the vulnerability of cyclists as well as meeting new people and having fun decorating our bodies".
The first Naked Bike Ride in Exeter (above) was held in 2011.
Devon and Cornwall Police have said they respected the campaigners right to protest, but hoped people would be sensible about their level of nudity.
They pointed out that complete nuditywas not acceptable, and officers would be obliged to uphold the law if complaints from the public were received.
There are thought to be more than 5,000 regular cyclists in Exeter.
