Can you help track down stolen bikes?

Police are appealing for the public’s help following two separate bike thefts which have taken place in Exeter this month.

Bicycle theft from Stuart Road in Exeter

Three bikes have been stolen following a break-in on Stuart Road, Exeter including a Trek Madone US Postal Services bike worth £2,000 (pictured).

This bike particularly identifiable as the pedals were originally black but have been filed back to look silver/chrome, and has a silver and blue coloured frame. A white ladies bike and a grey/silver Trek bike was also taken at the same time.

The theft took place between midnight and 7.30am on Sunday 8th February from garden shed at the property; the bikes had their padlocks removed. The crime reference for this is CR/011524/15.

Motorcycle theft from Bike Motion in Pinhoe

There was a burglary at Bike Motion, Venny Bridge, Pinhoe at around 1.50am on Friday 20th February. The window had been smashed at the address to gain access to the property.

Two motorbikes were stolen, a 125cc Haibike X Duro Hard 7 (White/Black) and a 125cc Haibike X Duro Full 7 (White/Black) worth in the region of £3,500 each. The crime reference for this is CR/011986/15.
