Celebrating 'The Otters'

Otter Garden Centre in Ottery St Mary marked another successful year with the annual team event, The Otters.  

Over 100 team members attended the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed event, held in a beautifully decorated marquee. They were treated to a sumptuous three course dinner cooked by the management team, with surprise entertainment provided by The Singing Waiters.

Managing Director, Jacqui Taylor said: “This is a wonderful way to thank our hardworking teams for their incredible efforts over the year, especially during the busy Christmas period.

“As a family business, we greatly value the contribution and commitment of all our team members.”

The highlight of the evening was the infamous awards ceremony. Prizes were given out for a number of awards including team of the year, super smile, and unsung hero. In a slightly unexpected move away from the chosen theme, prizes were given out by Snow White and several ‘dwarves’ – instantly recognisable as members of the management team!

After the awards, staff danced the night away; the disco was provided by Dis2Go.
