Cumberland Grange donates Easter eggs to charity and the children's ward
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Cumberland Grange care home, in Exeter, wanted to do something special for children less fortunate this Easter. They, together with the community and resident’s family members came together to donate lots of Easter Eggs for Action for Children and the Bramble Ward at the RD&E Hospital.
Easter for many is a fun filled time, with various activities, and often lots of chocolate! However, not every child will have that opportunity so Cumberland Grange wanted to help make Easter more special for a number of children here in Exeter.
Home Services Advisor, Mica said: To be able to support Action for Children and Children currently in hospital over the Easter weekend with Easter Eggs is just a small but hopefully impactful thing that we can do. Many of our residents have been hugely charitable over the years and still are, so they love to be able to help make a difference. We have been overwhelmed with the love, support and generosity from the community and family members too and we are very grateful that they have helped us to do this for children less fortunate.
Rosemary, resident at Cumberland Grange said: It really is such a lovely thing to do.
