
Cyclist rescued from flood water
Fire crews rescued a cyclist from a flood in Devon yesterday.
The man was stuck up to his shoulders in flowing water in Jetty Marsh Road, Newton Abbott at 3.10pm.
Fire Control mobilised two appliances from Newton Abbot and the specialist rescue teams from Camels Head and Exmouth.
Crews used a rope to pull the man to safety uninjured.
He was then assessed by ambulance crews on scene.
