Darts Farm supports DAAT

If you go along to Darts Farm, even if you have been there lots of times before, you could get lost, but it’s all in the name of Charity!

The fantastic team at Darts Farm have once again put together their fabulous Maize Maze to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Caroline Creer, Fundraising Director of Devon Air Ambulance Trust said “We are delighted to be working once again with the Darts Farm team and the maize maze is such a great fun way to raise funds for the Charity and a cost effective way to keep the kids busy for an hour or two during the Summer holidays.  On behalf of Devon Air Ambulance Trust I would like to thank Jim and the team at Darts for their continued support, which is very much appreciated.”

Jim Dart of Darts Farm said “We grow the maize every year to make silage for our ruby red cattle to eat in the winter, and we cut a path through it so that the children can have fun getting lost and trying to find the other end. This year if you looked from above the path it should look like an Avocet bird for which the Exe Estuary is famed.”

Why not pop along and have a go at the maize maze.   Simply pop along with your £1 to the shop tills to pay, they’ll even give you a map ‘just in case’ you can’t find your way out again.  Then when you have found your way out why not celebrate with a cuppa and cake in the fabulous Darts Farm café?
