Leading Devon law firm, WBW Solicitors have achieved a six figure pay out for a client following a serious road traffic accident approximately four years ago.

The man concerned, who wishes to remain anonymous, was involved in a high speed head on collision and suffered a serious brain injury and pelvic injuries.

He was in intensive care for several weeks undergoing many operations. As a result of his injuries he has been left with memory problems, fatigue, significant scarring and walks with a limp and will have to undergo further surgery in the future.

The injuries have had a life changing impact and, as a result, he has been prevented from pursuing the career he would have liked. The client described the award made to him as "life changing" and this will enable him to plan his future despite his traumatic injuries.

Therese Classon, Partner at WBW Solicitors who dealt with the claim, said: "It was a complicated case given the seriousness of the injuries. I was delighted to be able to achieve this high award for a most deserving client. He showed much courage and fortitude in pursuing this case and this award will go some way to help him with his future."

WBW offers a full range of legal services, both locally and nationally, from an experienced team of 18 partners, and over 140 staff across its offices in Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay and Bovey Tracey. Find out more at www.wbw.co.uk
