Did you witness East Devon burglary?

A burglary took place at a bed and breakfast on Charmouth Road near the Hunters Lodge Pub just outside Axminster between 3.15-5.45pm on Monday 6th April.

Cash has been taken from the property, and police are hoping that someone witnessed the break-in or saw something suspicious.

Detective Constable Matthew Burnell, said: “At the time the A35 was closed which meant that the queue of Bank Holiday traffic tailed back past the affected address.

"We are hoping that someone witnessed this burglary, or saw someone leaving the addresses later in the afternoon. We know that the B&B was empty and had no guests at the time.”
