According to recent research, we spend more than 100,000 hours of our lives at work.

This is why we need to work in spaces that stimulate creativity and districts that excite us, with teams that support our ideas and bosses that inspire us.

Employees and business leaders in Exeter are being asked to nominate their office location in a unique search that will identify the very best business district and locations in the UK.

Can Exeter compete with the likes of London’s Shoreditch, Manchester’s prime business district Spinningfields or in Edinburgh’s New Town, which is held-up to be a masterpiece of city centre planning?

Following nominations, an expert panel of judges will announce the UK’s top 10 business districts.

As well as the pride of working in a winning location, one nominator will win a luxury weekend away in the winning town or city for their colleagues.

Mark Burgess, Managing Director of Capital Properties said: "We manage a diverse range of properties nationwide from Grade A office space to mixed use estates. The common theme across our managed assets is that they all have a great sense of place.

'We are looking for thriving workplaces where work and play come together."

Anyone wanting to nominate their place of work can do so easily at http://www.capitalpropertiesltd.com/coolplaces

Nominations close on Sunday 31 August
