Doggy duo seek new home
Local RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter based just outside Exeter are desperately seeking a new home for a very special pair of dogs currently in their care.
Meet Molly and Ginger, a beautiful pair of 4 and 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback crossbreeds. Molly is Ginger’s mum and they have an incredibly close bond – they sleep together, play together and have very much relied on each other to help them through their difficult time in kennels.
These lovely, bubbly ladies are firm favourites at the Shelter due to their kind and affectionate nature. They give such an excitable and warm welcome when they see you!
Molly and Ginger have regularly been taken out of the Shelter with staff for adventures and fun - they love the beach and had a great time at the woods! They are sociable girls and they thoroughly enjoy meeting new doggy friends when out and about.
Sadly, Ginger has a heart condition, but she is living happily with this and it doesn't seem to hold her back. Any interested adopters can speak to the RSPCA's vet if they wish to discuss this further. But Ginger doesn't let it bother her. She and Molly are always running around the fields at Little Valley, playing and socialising with their canine pals.
Molly and Ginger would be best suited to a home with older children and without cats.
Despite how lovely these two girls are, there has been very little interest shown in them and the local RPSCA can't work out why. They really would make the perfect ready-made doggy family so please come along and meet them.
If you feel you can offer these lovely ladies their forever home, please call the local RSPCA - they would love to hear from you.
You can call the dog team direct on 07748 629202 during the Shelter's opening hours of 11am to 4pm every day except Wednesdays. During busy periods the phone may only be on between 2pm and 4pm, so please keep trying.
