EXETER'S high street is set for boost with the arrival of a new retailer.

CBD and vaping specialists Evapo is opening a new store in the City's Fore Street on Friday (28 July).

The company is committed to help people quit tobacco smoking with all its staff qualified NHS stop smoking advisors.

Evapo is also leading the way when it comes to ending underage vaping with owner Andrej Kuttuf having recently lobbied parliament in a bid to see the industry tighter controlled.

He is calling on MPs to regulate the sales of disposable vapes, thus putting an end to sales to under 18s.

He explained: "We’re thrilled to be opening our new store in Exeter and we look forward to helping many local residents who are looking to quit smoking for good. The store offers a wide variety of products and is a place where people can come for expert advice.

"As a company, we are totally committed to ending sales of vapes to anyone under 18 and all our stores operate a policy where staff will ask for proof of age if someone looks under 25.

“I have lobbied parliament on this. We want all vape retailers to be properly regulated which will lead to much tougher sanctions for anyone caught selling products illegally.”

Evapo, which has created three new jobs in Exeter, is also leading the way when it comes to ensuring disposable vapes are disposed of responsibly.

"We are currently looking at ways for all disposable vapes to be deposited and recycled responsibly", added Mr Kulttuf, "and the Exeter branch will have a recycle bin for all Elf disposables which, in turn, will ensure they are recycled safely by the company.

“We care passionately about the environment which is why we are investing heavily in this direction.”

Exeter is Evapo 46th store across the UK and the shop will be packed full of devices, juices, disposables, CBD products and hundreds of accessories.

Mr Kuttuf added: "If you’re a smoker trying to quit, or perhaps you’re suffering from insomnia and need some help getting to sleep, your newly opened Evapo store can help with that.

“We are proud to be in Exeter and we look forward to helping the city and its residents say goodbye to tobacco smoking for good.”

Evapo Exeter will be open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
