FORCE launches new support group

FORCE will launch a new support group at its headquarters this autumn and the Exeter cancer charity is keen to hear from anyone who would like to get involved.

The Family and Friends Support Group is available for anyone who is close to someone affected by cancer - a partner, family member or close friend.

This group offers an opportunity to meet other people in a similar situation and will run on Wednesdays over six sessions fortnightly.

You will need to book in advance as space is limited and FORCE asks where possible for a commitment to attend all six sessions to fully benefit from this opportunity.

“The group will provide mutual support as well as benefits advice and help with anxiety management, talking to family, information and useful links to other organisations,” said Stella King, FORCE Oncology Support Specialist.
