Fore Street Flea Market is back for July!

On Sunday 23rd July, Exeter's Fore Street will be hosting its second Flea Market of the year. The Flea Market is from 12-4, come rain or shine!

With 100 diverse stalls from regional and local producers, makers, designers, antiques, vintage and independent retailers, along with vintage cars, the Fore Street Flea promises to be an unmissable event.  It really is a day for the whole family, with live music and local food including a Farmers Market selling Bread, Ice Cream and Olives and much more, really showcasing what is best about Exeter.

The street will be closed to traffic from Market Street to Bartholomew Street West and  many of the Independent shops will be opening their doors. Join our vibrant community in the West Quarter with a day of celebrating and supporting our Independent businesses. Exeter BID supports the Fore Street Flea Market by organising and funding the road closures and associated costs.

Mattie Richardson, BID director and owner of Bunyip Craft, says 'the Fore Street Flea Market encompasses the wonderful community that we have on Fore Street, of both traders and residents, we love having the road closed for the day so we can all enjoy our local environment without obstacle. We are thrilled to be donating to Home-Start Exeter to help continue their excellent work with families in the area'

Half of all the money raised from the Fore Street Flea market goes straight to a local charity, this time we have decided to donate £700 to an excellent charity, Home-Start Exeter and East Devon.

Home-Start Exeter and East Devon is a voluntary organisation, offering friendship and support to local families with young children. We help families to give their children the best start in life. Supporting over 80 families annually this unique service is provided by volunteers, who are parents themselves. They give regular support, friendship and practical help to those who are struggling with raising their own families.
