Situated on the outskirts of Exeter, the Radis Community Care team at Edward’s Court Extra Service are hosting a fun-filled Christmas market, as well as a free health and wellbeing fair.

Open (and free!) to the general public, the local community as well as the extra care service’s residents, the Christmas market will be held on 12th December from 10am to 2pm.

With free mince pies and Christmas bakes on offer to all attendees, the festive event will also be home to a number of stall holders, making it the perfect opportunity to do some shopping for gifts whilst supporting local businesses.

Whilst keen to get everybody into the festive spirit, Radis Community Care and its expert health and wellbeing team are keen to educate the local community about the importance of staying healthy, particularly during the winter months.

With this in mind, the leading care provider is offering free health and wellbeing checks for all visitors over the age of 18.

Checking health concerns such as blood pressure, blood sugar levels and cholesterol, the team will also be offering weight and hydration assessments as well as providing general advice.

Jay Symons, national live-in manager for Radis Community Caresaid of the upcoming event:

“With Christmas around the corner, we were keen to put on an event to bring the local community together, enabling them to get into the festive spirit whilst also using the opportunity to give back to the public.

“This Christmas market and health and wellbeing fair is the perfect way to do just that – by supporting local businesses and stall holders and offering our expert health and wellbeing checks for free.

“Our hope is that people will continue to take their health a little more seriously, realising the impact their current lifestyles may have on their day to day health.”

The Christmas market and health and wellbeing fair will be held at Edward’s Court, Millbrook Lane, Exeter, EX2 6FU between 10am and 2pm.
