For those looking for a fun activity to entertain the kids during the half term holidays, Pets at Home is hosting a series of Halloween themed free interactive pet workshops during October half term. Taking place in stores across Devon, the workshops will educate attendees about how to look after pets during what can be a cold, dark and scary time of year; Halloween and Bonfire Night.

The My Pet Pals workshops are aimed at children between the ages of 5-11 and offer hands-on activities to educate the next generation of pet owners about keeping pets safe, happy and healthy. Children can expect to find out about the fascinating world of pets, with interactive games, free activity books, stickers and goody boxes. They’ll also get to meet Pets at Home’s friendly pets.

Kelly Krohn, store manager at the Pets at Home Tiverton store, said: “The Spooky Pets workshops are a fun and interactive way to give young animal lovers the chance to learn the importance of animal welfare throughout the colder and darker months. The workshops are hosted by our friendly and knowledgeable pet care advisors, who are on hand to ensure little animal lovers leave fully equipped with everything they need to know about caring for pets.”

The free workshops will teach children about keeping pets safe during Halloween and bonfire night. The workshops last approximately 30 minutes and take place every day in stores at 11.30 am during the half term holidays. Customers can find out more and book a place on a My Pet Pals workshop, by visiting petsathome.com/petworkshops.
