The 2017 Hospiscare Swimathon is on its way.

April 1st 2017 is the date to remember and while this may seem like a long way off, it’s never too early to start thinking about getting a team together.

Entry closes on 17th March 2017, or whenever this popular event is fully booked, so don’t dilly dally - join up today!

Hospiscare is extremely grateful to Devon & Cornwall Police for use of the Middlemoor Police HQ Swimming Pool for the Swimathon, it wouldn't be possible without them.

Each team will be swimming for 50 minutes in one lane, with only one team member swimming at once and only for as many lengths as they can manage. Swimmers can swap in and out as many times as they like. Naturally, getting sponsorship in advance is essential so don’t be afraid to ask people for support.

Hospiscare is a local charity, providing free, high quality care and support to people with a progressive life-limiting illness, and those close to them, in Exeter, Mid and East Devon.

This is the second Hospiscare Swimathon. The event raised over £10k last year and we hope to do even better this year. So, come on, dive in, the water’s lovely! And it’s all for a very good cause indeed.
