InExeter and Visit Exeter Launch Colour In Exeter Competition

InExeter and Visit Exeter are looking for people to share their images of the new colourful flags and banners across the city centre, which have been installed for the Colour In Exeter campaign. A £100 Exeter Independent Gift Card will be awarded at the end of June, for their favourite photo of the flags.

The Colour In Exeter campaign includes colourful banners and flags that adorn the streets of Exeter, celebrating the different areas of the city. From Fore Street up to Sidwell Street, there is an explosion of colour from pops of purple in the West Quarter, yellow hues for the Cathedral Quarter and shades of green for East Gate. All the colours join together in the High Street which brings all these areas together.

The flags and wayfinding banners can be found in the following locations:
 

•              High Street

•              Castle Quarter - Castle Street, Gandy Street & Queen Street

•              North and South Street

•              Sidwell Street

•              Guildhall Shopping Centre

•              Magdalen Road

•              Princesshay Shopping Centre

•              The West Quarter - Fore Street & New Bridge Street
 

The flags celebrate the different areas of the city and encourage the public to explore off the High Street to discover all Exeter has to offer.

The Exeter Independent Gift Card is a MasterCard-based gift card which can be used in over 100 independent businesses across Exeter.
