
Jewellery stolen in East Devon burglary
Police are appealing for information after a large amount of jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Woodbury, near Exeter.
The property on Cottles Lane was broken into sometime between 3.45pm on Wednesday 9 September and midnight on Thursday 10 September.
Six gold and silver necklaces, five gold rings and several pairs of earrings were taken by the offender(s).
May of the items are of sentimental value to the victim.
One of the stolen rings is similar to the one pictured, although it also has small emeralds either side of the main stone.
A handmade bespoke 9ct white gold finger-tip cover, an antique silver jug and a silver salver (similar to the one pictured) were also among the items taken.
A 43-year-old man from Exmouth has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on police bail until 4 November pending further enquiries.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to the burglary or anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the stolen items to get in touch.
