Kitchen appliances stolen from Newton Abbot building site

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the Charles Church building site, situated off Mile End Road in Newton Abbot.

The burglary happened sometime between 1pm on Saturday 16 November and 7.30am on Monday 18 November 2013.

A locked container was broken into and around £7,000 worth of electrical goods were stolen.

The items are brand new kitchen appliances, including fridges, freezers, cookers, hobs and cooker hoods; most were Electrolux and AEG make.

DC Karen Stiven, Teignbridge and South Hams investigation team, said: “We believe a large van may have been used to transport the stolen goods away so if anyone saw a suspicious looking van in the area at the weekend please get in touch.”
