Learn food foraging in East Devon

East Devon District Council's Countryside team is planning a Family Foraging event on Saturday 19 September, from 10am to 12.30pm  at Holyford Woods, near Colyford.

Basic foraging techniques will be demonstrated during a walk in the woods, followed by a taster session around the campfire - weather permitting.

Councillor Iain Chubb, Portfolio holder for the Environment, said: “We aim to show families how much fun can be had collecting edible fruit, nuts and wild plants in the woods, and to share ideas on how they can be used in cooking."
