Livery Dole spreads festive cheer in Devon community

This holiday season, Livery Dole, the esteemed Isuzu UK dealership based in Exeter, is extending its commitment to the local community by partnering with Devon Young Farmers to bring joy and support to various causes.

This collaboration with the Devon Young Farmers, an association nurturing the skills and community involvement of young individuals aged 10-28, showcases Livery Dole's dedication to fostering positive relationships and giving back during the festive season.

In a significant gesture, Livery Dole has formed a lasting partnership with Devon Young Farmers, actively supporting their initiatives. From advertising in their bi-monthly newsletter to sponsoring their 2023 Christmas Ball, the dealership is committed to the development and well-being of the young farming community.

The summer saw Livery Dole sponsoring Lucy, a Young Farmer, on a volunteering trip to Jamaica through the YFC Travel programme, demonstrating the dealership's commitment to youth empowerment and global engagement.

Furthermore, the dealership gets involved in various other local community projects. During the holiday season, Livery Dole has taken the opportunity to spread goodwill by raffling off gifts received from customers and suppliers, with all proceeds directed towards Little Valley Animal Shelter. This follows their earlier support, sponsoring an Isuzu D-Max vehicle for a ‘Win a Car’ event, with all donations benefiting the same institution.

Hayden Williams, Managing Director at Livery Dole, expresses his enthusiasm for community engagement: "Every Friday and at various events during the year we join the local farming community at the Livestock market in Exeter, we find this a great way to connect with our local customers, interact with the farming community and showcase how our vehicles can help support their business and lives. It has resulted in great relationships being formed and allows us to give a little back when needed. We even donated 200 coffee mugs recently to the centre café for farmers to enjoy their morning brew out of!"

Livery Dole has been an Isuzu UK dealer since 2021 and has a rich history of supporting local events for over 25 years. As the year comes to a close, the dealership bids farewell to a dedicated member of staff, Peter, who retires after an incredible 40 years with the company. Peter has been the face of Livery Dole's support and events at the cattle market, attending the weekly markets every Friday and becoming a well-known and cherished figure in the local community.
