Local artist unlocks hidden talent
Local celebrity artist, Pete the Poet continued his vocational work this week at Cumberland Grange Care Home in Exeter. Well known for his local community mural artwork, Pete dedicates much of his time to bringing out the creative side of young and old alike.
Cumberland Grange engaged Pete the Poet to enrich the lives of their residents. Activities Co-ordinator, Gosia Maliga said “Pete’s sessions are remarkable. They bring a unique combination of companionship, creativity, entertainment and therapy to one activity.”
General Manager, Marc Chudley of Cumberland Grange said: “Pete the Poet gives so much to the local community through his art. We are very grateful to have access to this gift and be able to share it with our residents to enrich their lives. The work our residents produce at one of his sessions is truly remarkable.”
