Local band Rat Attack release debut single and Video

Rat Attack is very proud to announce the release of its newest single 'Bad Catholic' accompanied with music video. The music video was made by local TV/Production company Pangaea TV, and once it had reached 500 views the band released a free download of the single through their facebook page.

The band will also be releasing their Peter Miles-produced (Frank Turner, Tellison, We Are The Ocean) eponymous debut EP in February 2013 (date TBC), which will feature the second single ‘Heartbeat’, with guest vocals from Liam Cromby from We Are The Ocean. The whole EP, in fact, has guests and friends guesting, playing and singing (Crazy Arm, King Blues bassist Kat Marsh, all of We Are The Ocean doing backing vocals on all tracks etc).

Taking their influences from the likes of Refused, The Bronx, The Hives, Murder City Devils, and The Beastie Boys, the debut EP is filled with everyday rock and roll tales, songs of overly keen lovers (‘Bird In Hand’), losing friends to social media (‘Facehooked’), a tongue in cheek of view of sex and relationships (‘Look Back and Laugh’, ‘Bad Catholic’), and most importantly, songs about living life to the fullest whilst you are still young (‘Heartbeat’ featuring guest vocals from Liam Cromby from We Are The Ocean).

Live wise, the band have already toured Europe 4 times, and played over 300 UK shows supporting the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Rancid, The Ghost of a Thousand, DZ Deathrays, The Computers, Deaf Havana and Cerebral Ballzy.
