Mystery moggy at Exeter Hospice
A moggy mystery has unfolded at Hospiscare’s Exeter hospice – a stray ginger cat, who staff have nicked named Boris, regularly pops into to see nurses and patients.
Boris jumps in through open windows or ambles through open patio doors and is a regular sight in the offices and ward.
He enjoys cuddles from cat loving Hospiscare nurses and patients and sometimes snuggles up on staff chairs in the ward office but there are concerns that he might get locked in the numerous different rooms at the Dryden Road building. Also, Boris has recently lost weight.
So Hospiscare is asking if Boris has a local owner –Boris conveniently disappears when someone appears with a cat basket to take him to a cat home to see if he’s chipped. It seems he has already visited neighbouring healthcare buildings, staff at the Russell Clinic and The Cedars have tagged notes around his neck asking who his owner is.
