Newtown's first Cycle Cafe of the year

Newtown Community Association will host its first community cafe of the year on Sunday 13 April.

The April cafe will be a cycle cafe at Belmont Hut in Belmont Park, Exeter and will be open from 2pm-5pm.

The event, in conjunction with Devon County Council, will include opportunities to get your bike checked by a mechanic, low cost reflective/florescent items, and free smoothie drinks thanks to a pedal powered smoothie bike.

Community Police Officers will be present to allow people to obtain free bike security marking as well as advice on security protection.

The event will also include County Council travel advisors who will be able to offer practical help with regards to personalised journey planning, maps and timetables, plus free cycle training.
