Overnight surfacing for M5 entry slip road
Overnight surfacing work will be carried out on the northbound entry slip at Junction 29 of the M5 this evening (Monday 15 October).
Road users are advised that the slip road will be closed from 8pm to 6am as part of Devon County Council’s Junction 29 Improvement Scheme.
Traffic approaching Moor Lane Roundabout from the west intending to join the M5 northbound at Junction 29 will follow the diversion in advance of the closure from Moor Lane Roundabout via Moor Lane and Moto Roundabout to Sandygate Roundabout and then join the M5 northbound.
A30 eastbound traffic which misses the advance diversion will follow a diversion eastbound to take the next turning to the M5 southbound, take the M5 southbound entry slip, onto the M5, before taking the Junction 30 southbound exit slip and then following signs to the M5 northbound.
Traffic heading westbound on the A30 wishing to take the Junction 29 northbound entry slip for the M5 will follow a diversion in advance of the closure to the M5 southbound entry slip, the M5, the southbound exit slip of Junction 30 and then follow signs to the M5 northbound.
A30 westbound traffic which misses the advance diversion will follow a diversion to Moor Lane Roundabout, Moor Lane, Moto Roundabout to Sandygate Roundabout and then join the M5 northbound.
South West Highways Ltd is carrying out the work on behalf of Devon County Council.
