Pensioner dies in A30 crash

A pensioner has died after his car left the road on the A30 near Ide.

Police say the 79-year-old man is believed to have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.

He was airlifted to the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital where he later sadly died.

His next of kin have been informed.
