Police appeal after fatal collision in Exeter
Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a car and a pedestrian at around 9.20pm on Saturday 15 December to Alphington Road, Exeter.
The incident took place underneath the railway bridge.
Formal identification of the 19-year-old pedestrian has yet to have taken place.
Police are appealing for anyone who lives or works in Alphington Street or Haven Road and has a CCTV system installed on their premises, to contact the investigation team.
Investigators are keen to secure footage from Haven Road, from Exe Bridges to the railway bridge at the beginning of Alphington Road and the junctions of any road leading off from that route.
A police spokesman also said “We are also keen to trace the identity of a woman, possibly a nurse who offered and provided first aid to the victim at the scene. We ask that this person also contacts the investigation team.”
