Police concerned for missing Paignton woman
Update 30 April: Found: Katherine Hooper has been found safe and well, says Devon and Cornwall Police. She was located in the Paignton area by a member of the public, who alerted police to her location. She was taken to hospital for a full check up. Yesterday: Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare and whereabouts of a 24-year-old woman from the Paignton area.
Katherine Hooper was reported missing from the Queen Elizabeth Drive area of the town between 9 and 11pm on Sunday 28 April 2013.
House-to-house enquiries are ongoing and the police helicopter and ground units have been deployed to try and find Katherine.
Background checks have been carried out and officers have now employed the help of the Dartmoor Rescue Group to assist with the search in open areas in Paignton.
She has been deemed as high risk as this is out of character for her.
Police are urging Katherine to please call police immediately.
She is described as a white female, with auburn hair, 5’2” tall, wearing jeans, a black top and black ‘dolly’ shoes.
