Princesshay unveils all-new Christmas lights
Princesshay will be transformed this Christmas with the unveiling of its brand-new festive lighting scheme on Saturday 16th November.
The new light installation will include a large stag figure located in the centre of Princesshay, giant diamonds suspended in the air in Bampfylde Lane, projections onto shop fronts and a life-size throne next to the city’s historical Roman Wall. Visitors to Princesshay will also find a big illuminated Christmas present that shoppers can step into for the ultimate festive photo, alongside the centre’s giant Christmas tree which this year will be decorated with more than 340 individual decorations. Roman Walk will also become home to 35 Christmas trees, decorated by local charities as part of its annual Charity Christmas Tree Festival.
Wayne Pearce, centre director for Princesshay said, “We can’t wait for visitors to see our brand-new lights. The spectacular installation will capture the magic of Christmas and create the perfect backdrop for exploring our 70 shops and restaurants at this special time of the year.”
Princesshay will launch a ‘Name the Stag Competition’ on its social media channels where members of the public can suggest a name for the new festive resident.
