Rathbones Group increases support for Exeter Cathedral
Rathbones Group is pleased to announce that it has extended its partnership with Exeter Cathedral for 2024.
This is the seventh year that Rathbones has sponsored the Cathedral and its new commitment includes supporting two new major events at the Cathedral grounds, as well as the annual Christmas carol concerts.
The first event on 4th October features author Alexander McCall Smith who is best known for the bestselling No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency crime novels. That is followed on 13th November by a concert based on the novel War Horse featuring a reading by its renowned author Sir Michael Morpurgo.
In addition, Rathbones will continue to sponsor Exeter Cathedral’s Christmas Carol Concerts featuring the Choir of Exeter Cathedral. These concerts will take place on the 7th, 10th and 12th December at 7pm.
Michele Rogers, Head of Exeter at Rathbones Group comments: “Rathbones has been a long-time supporter of the arts, and we’re thrilled to be able to commit to sponsoring more fantastic events at Exeter Cathedral. Over the last six years of working with the Cathedral, the carol concerts have become a much-loved fixture in ours and our clients’ calendars, helping to kick off the festive season.
“The Cathedral hosts a number of insightful and inspiring events across the year, and we’re pleased to be working together with this local institution for the seventh year.”
