Redrow Homes offers community fund for deserving causes in Okehampton
Redrow Homes has created a community fund to donate to the most deserving causes in Okehampton, home to its new Romansfield development.
The housebuilder is inviting local people and organisations to write to them, explaining how they would benefit from funding. The team at Redrow will then decide on which causes will receive the £2,000 financial boost.
Previously, funding provided by other Redrow divisions has contributed towards new benches for a local primary school and a book exchange being opened in an old converted telephone box for the community to enjoy.
Louise Coles, area sales manager at Redrow West Country, said: “We want to see our local communities thriving; supporting local organisations and initiatives is a great way to do this.
“We’re keen to hear from people in Okehampton about how this community funding should best be spent to benefit as many people as possible.”
The Romansfield development has a range of charming two, three and four–bedroom homes available from £269,995.
Located just a mile from the town centre with easy access to a range of local amenities, and within easy reach of the beautiful Dartmoor National park, the development offers a perfect combination of country living and town amenities.
A brand-new school has also opened opposite the site, for children aged two to eleven, providing parents with the peace of mind that their little ones can walk safely and only a short distance to school.
For those interested in applying for the fund, please send a brief description of how you would benefit to georgia.corp@purplefish.agency by Friday 9 August.
