Resurfacing to resume at Moor Lane roundabout
Overnight resurfacing work will resume at Moor Lane roundabout in Exeter from Monday (4 May).
The scheme on the A3015 Honiton Road/Moor Lane roundabout was temporarily put on hold last month as the contractor placed its staff in furlough due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, work to complete the scheme will now recommence from 8pm on Monday night, with site staff observing social distancing restrictions. Closures will be in place each weekday evening, Monday to Friday, from 8pm-6am over the next two weeks. No work will be undertaken or closures required during daytime, at weekends or on the evening of Friday 8 May.
The road closures will not impact on the Covid-19 testing centre at the Honiton Road Park and Ride as the road will re-open during the daytime and the testing centre will not be open while the resurfacing is being carried out.
During the overnight closures the roundabout will be closed to traffic and signed diversions put in place. Every effort will be made to re-open parts of the roundabout as the work progresses.
More information, including maps on the closures and diversions, are available on the scheme webpage.
