Search for local heroes to open new store
The dual facia Simply Be and Jacamo store, opening in Exeter High Street, has launched a search to find two local heroes, a woman and a man, as part of a competition which will see the winners opening the brand new store.
Opening on Thursday, 12 March, the winners will each be given £100 to spend on clothes for a new wardrobe before taking centre stage to cut the ribbon, declaring the store open.
Whether it’s someone who goes the extra mile to make a special contribution in Exeter or a member of the local community known and loved by many, the winners are guaranteed to have an unforgettable morning to celebrate the stylish new addition to the city.
Store manager, Mary Moran, will be judging the competition and are urging people from the local community to nominate worthy winners by sending 150 words on why they should win.
All nominations should be emailed to ExeterLocalHero@havasww.com before Friday 27th February at 5pm.

Based in the High Street, the dual facia Simply Be and Jacamo store will provide a selection of men’s and women’s fashion. Simply Be customers can expect a collection of catwalk-inspired must-haves in sizes 10-32. The store also carries a full range of accessories, footwear, lingerie and swimwear for fashion-forward ladies.
Jacamo offers a range of men's designer labels and own brands, including Jacamo's Flintoff by Jacamo collection, exclusively designed by England cricket legend Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff, alongside men's favourites, French Connection, Penguin, Lambretta, and Voi all in sizes small to 5XL.
