South West’s leading regional house builder launches recruitment drive
Wainhomes, the south west’s leading regional house builder, is on a recruitment drive.
The move is part of the company's investment in the region as it looks to take its developments across Devon, Cornwall and Dorset to 16 by the end of 2019.
Wainhomes will also consolidate its position of building high quality new homes in the best locations throughout the heart of the South West.
Alex Hugo, Wainhomes managing director for the South West, said: "We're particularly looking for a number of experienced managers to join both our technical and commercial teams. They will include quantity surveyors and project managers. Talented individuals are the backbone of our operation and we are anxious to speak to anyone who is ambitious and looking for a new challenge." Prospective candidates are asked to visit the jobs section at www.wainhomes.net.
The new recruits will be working out of Wainhomes new regional headquarters at Exeter International Office Park at Clyst Honiton near Exeter Airport, which is already the base for more than 40 employees.
Commenting on the working environment, Alex said: "I think these modern new offices very much underline our commitment to the region. Not only do they represent a substantial investment in their own right but give Wainhomes the platform for future growth.”
"They signal, too, our intention to create new jobs by attracting the best talent as we look to fulfil our ambitious plans."
Wainhomes also has a long-established operation in the North West and last year established a division in Severn Valley which will cover North Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire and areas of Thames Valley.
