Taylor Wimpey donates £100 to Pinhoe Guides
The 1st Pinhoe Guides have received a £100 donation from Taylor Wimpey Exeter to help celebrate two gold award achievements - the highest award that can be achieved in this section.
Two Rangers, who have earned their gold awards while working with the Pinhoe Guides, were honoured during the presentation evening which saw the Guides and Rangers come together to celebrate.
Taylor Wimpey’s donation also allowed organisers to welcome Animals 2U South West to the event, which provided live animal encounters and educational talks throughout the evening.
Michelle Bailey, leader at 1st Pinhoe Guides, said: “On behalf of all the Guides and Rangers, we would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for the donation it has made. This money has allowed us to do something a bit different for the girls and make the evening really special. It was a lovely celebration and the perfect way for us to come together following another difficult year.”
Melissa Langton, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Exeter, added: “Our team is always looking out for local groups, charities and organisations who need our support, particularly those that are providing such a valuable contribution to the local community. The 1st Pinhoe Guides and Rangers do just that, and we were delighted to be able to do something nice for both groups so they could commemorate this achievement together.
