Tickets go on sale for brand new festival in Exeter
Tickets have gone on sale for a new Exeter Festival this summer.Multi-platinum, chart-topping band The Hoosiers, best known for their singles ‘Worried About Ray’ and Goodbye Mr. A’ will be headlining the three-day event.
The new Exeter Festival takes place over the weekend of Friday 5 to Sunday 7 July.
The Festival features affordable and free events over a fun-filled weekend. It all kicks off on the Friday with screenings of the hit Queen flick Bohemian Rhapsody and The Greatest Showman in the beautiful surrounds of Northernhay Gardens.
On Saturday local bands will be showcasing home-grown success throughout the day, culminating in an energetic fun, pop-filled evening sets from The Hoosiers and the high-energy 10-piece band Joey the Lips, performing Funk, Soul, Blues and Disco.
On Sunday the emphasis switches to the family, with Mary Poppins Returns on the big screen in the park and a community and family day hosted by national comedian and writer Tony Hawks and Radio Exe.
