Torquay police appeal for witnesses after drivers involved in altercation
Police in Torquay are appealing for witnesses and information after an incident at the junction of Walnut Road and Oldmill Road in the town.
Some time between 3pm and 3.10pm on Wednesday, 7 August 2013, the drivers of a red Jaguar and blue Mercedes CLK are believed to have been involved in an altercation at the junction, which police believe would have been seen by other motorists in the area.
The 66-year-old male driver of the Mercedes suffered cuts, bruises and a damaged shirt as a result of the incident and police are keen to speak to the driver of the Jaguar to get an account of what may have gone on.
The driver of the Jaguar is described as a white man, around 60 years old with a grey goatee beard, heavy build and cockney accent.
