Two Arrested in Laundrette death investigation

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man found collapsed in a Laundrette on Well Street, which is being treated as unexplained. 

A 38 year-old man form Exeter was arrested in suspicion of manslaughter and a 44 year-old man, also from Exeter, was arrested on suspicion of supplying a class A drug. Both men have been released on bail until February 27th while investigations continue.

Neighbourhood officers discovered a the man while on their patrols at around 12.30pm on Saturday 11th January 2013. Neighbourhood officers carried out CPR until an ambulance arrived.

The man was taken by ambulance to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Formal identification has not taken place but the man’s next of kin has been informed. He is thought to be a local man in his fifties.
