Vintage clothing sale event comes to Exeter
Worth The Weight Vintage Kilo Sale will be making its debut in Exeter on Sunday 30th September at Exeter Corn Exchange. The event is an all-day shopping experience, selling top quality vintage clothing at trade prices that are not normally available to the public.
Visitors will be able to rummage through ten tonnes of handpicked, men’s and women’s vintage clothing and accessories, from the ‘60s to the ‘90s, including many designer and branded items.
Like a vintage pick and mix shop, customers grab a bag, fill it up and pay by the weight. Clothing costs just £15 per kilo, and individual items start as low as 75p. It’s the bargain way to shop vintage.
The event tours the country every weekend and currently visits more than 30 cities around the UK.
Event organiser, Louise Glover, says, “The event is the perfect place to find unique items for your wardrobe at bargain prices that you can’t find anywhere else.”
She adds, “We’ve all become more conscious of the environment in recent years. What’s great about the Worth the Weight sale is that it’s a more sustainable way to shop and means less clothing ends up in landfill.”
Stock is replenished throughout the day so no matter what time shoppers arrive, they can always be sure to find a bargain. Changing rooms and weighing stations are available so customers can check the price of items as they go along.
